3) Supervisor Christina Olague Introduces Ordinance that may Impact Displacement

“Introduce ordinance to provide families that are relocated due to redevelopment of a public housing sites to have a right to return to the revitalized housing. Create an expressed right to return will simplify the occupancy process and make it possible for those that have been displaced from revitalized projects to return to their community. Displacement of people as a result of Redevelopment activities has had an irreparable impact on the Western Addition and San Francisco’s African American community.” (July 31, 2012)
